Now it will come about that in the last days, the mountain of the house of the Lord will be established as the chief of the mountains, and will be raised above the hills; and all the nations will stream to it. And many peoples will come and say, “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; that He may teach us concerning His ways, and that we may walk in His paths. For the law will go forth from Zion, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.” Isaiah 2:2-3

Both the prophets Isaiah and Micah shared these words in their days. Today these words are on the lips of many Jews but they are not accepted by many. First, the nations led by Palestinian terrorists are adamantly opposed to anyone other than Muslims being on the Temple Mount of Jerusalem (the mountain of the Lord) or any form of worship with an altar to the God of Israel (the house of the God of Jacob). Sadly, they are joined by the government of Israel, led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and the ultra-orthodox Haredim. Those Jews, Messianic Jews, and Christians who believe that Israel has an inherent right to the Temple Mount are branded as “right wing extremists” and too “messianic.” Even the idea of sharing the Mount is abhorrent, despite the ideas of sharing the land of Israel and dividing the city of Jerusalem are not.

In the latest action of this travesty, the Jerusalem Police have now banned all “right wing Temple Mount advocates” from entering the city of Jerusalem for six months!

I understand the volatility of the violence in Israel with the Palestinians. I understand the hatred they express and the despicable lies they have told, such as “there never was a Jewish temple there before” and “Jews are descendants of monkeys and pigs.” I understand that the world thinks appeasement will somehow lessen the violence and everyone should cater to the Palestinians so they will calm down.

However, there is a problem with this belief and approach. It solves nothing; it perpetuates the problem. But there is still another problem that the leadership of Israel and the world just don’t believe.

The city of Jerusalem is the “City of the King” and the Temple Mount belongs to the God of Israel. This has been well documented historically by the purchase of the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite by King David and the construction of the Temple by King Solomon. This is the place where God has placed His Name on the earth.

Those who venerate the God of Israel hold the ground of the Temple Mount to be Holy. The prophet Isaiah has spoken of the days yet to come when all of the world will recognize this so we can safely say today, “Anyone obstructing the worship of the God of Israel at that place is outside of the will of God and He will remove all obstacles to perform His will.”

It should be on the minds of all believers that there will be an altar there soon and when it is shut down consistent with the world opinion we see today, that great tribulation will come to earth on all peoples, tribes, and tongues when the God of Israel proves that He is the One True God of the Universe and that He is the Lord over all the Earth and everything in it.

Then we will go up to the mountain…

Recently on Facebook there was this graphic floating around that shows the percentage of Old Testament Scriptures quoted in the New Testament.  I thought I would share. 

 

The Government of United States of America has been supporting the establishment of whole Muslim communities in this country by accelerating their immigration and funding their subsistence including housing, food, education, and medical care with every entitlement program this country has to offer. This is in direct conflict with the Constitution to neither establish any religion nor infringe on the free exercise of that religion. Moreover, the President and his administration have promoted programs in every branch of government, including the military, to force acceptance of Muslims as a people and Islam as a religion. All references to terrorist activity has been stripped of the terms "radical Islamists or Islamic terrorists."

The President and his administration want to make sure that Islam is honored. The President argues that Islamic terrorists are not "real" believers in Islam and should not be call "Islamic." Military chaplains have been directed to not include any reference to "Jesus" in their services or prayers as it will offend Muslims. Individual servicemen and women are prohibited from sharing their personal Christian testimonies as it offends Muslims. Seniors Officers with Christian testimonies have been removed from their assignments.

The official Government's posture is to suppress any and all references to Christian culture to facilitate the Muslim faith. A few years ago, a Muslim Army officer killed 13 fellow soldiers and wounded dozens at Fort Hood. It took years for the President to recognize it as a terrorist attack. They called it "workplace violence." They feared that Americans would object to their program of supporting the Islamic faith in the United States. Only recently have those soldiers received their Purple Hearts and assistance due to combat veterans. Where is the outrage on the part of liberals and progressives while the government establishes Islam in the United States? Why isn't the Congress or the courts speaking out against this violation of the 1st Amendment? If the President was a Jew and he did the same with a group of Jews, or if he was a Christian and helping set up a Christian-only community, they would impeach him.

This last week, President Obama announced that negotiations with Iran had been successfully completed for a framework agreement with Iran. This truly was a miracle of sorts since the Russians and other European nations, who were negotiating earlier, had left the talks and gone home. Even though the talks had passed the deadline, the agreement was suddenly announced. This truly is an historic agreement without precedent! Apparently, Secretary of State John Kerry and his team were able to get the agreement, and the President excitedly shared the terms of the agreement with the world press. Each of the six terms in the framework agreement explained by the President began with the words, "If Iran agrees in the future to… then Iran will shut down its nuclear weapons program." He also said that he has made Israel safer now. There was no handshake or joint communiqué for the agreement between the United States and Iran. Instead, the framework document was a dinner napkin used by one of the Iranian representatives retrieved after the last snack time with some smudges of hummus. Secretary Kerry assured everyone that this was the Iranian custom for an agreement, indicating "goodwill" and "nukes only for electrical generation purposes." The press was not shown the napkin as it was found to have dangerous levels of radiation emitting from the cloth.

But according to Iranian news sources, the President is lying and Iran didn't agree to anything like what John Kerry is reporting. In fact, they posted Death to America on all media outlets. Secretary Kerry said that Iran always says that with any joyous announcement. He added that the June agreement was merely a formality, and the hard work of the negotiations was complete.

Setting aside the United States negotiations with Iran, I also wanted to share another historic agreement that I am most pleased about. After careful negotiations with a multitude of nations including Iran, I am announcing that I am now King of the World. It is only a framework agreement right now, but the final agreement will be in time for my birthday this July.

I've already called the White House to pass on my congratulations for the president's deal with Iran, but none of the White House staff or the president has called me with my congratulations. I'm okay with that. The president often waits a few days to call allies with congratulations.
